The Bihar Museum, in collaboration with the Centre of International Modern Art (CIMA), is organising a retrospective exhibition of artist Shakila showcasing over 30 of her artwork. As someone who spent most of her childhood navigating life in poverty and homelessness, Shakila’s art puts the hypocrisies and unpredictabilities of life at the centre while also incorporating a subtle and charming humour.
