Samvara

Twelve-armed and three-faced Sambara standing on double lotus seat (mahambujapitha) in alidha pose and vajra humkara posture. The middle face has jatamukuta with crescent. He is wearing long garlands of skulls; the right leg is placed on an emaciated female holding a sword(Bhairavi), and the left is on a small body also lying on his back with four arms. The lower left staff is broken; one right hand is in front of the chest, and the remaining is broken; the main divinity has the two main hands crossed in front of the chest with vajra in right hand and ghanta left to make the vajra humkara posture. The remaining hands hold different attributes like damaru, sword, axe, human skin, kapala, spear etc. A kneeling devotee in anjalimudra is in the centre of the seat. On top of the rectangular slab on each side are shown flying vidyadharas on indented clouds, and the slab has flames in low relief.
