Made of red sandstone during the Gupta period, this female statue is of Goddess Parvati. She has four hands; there is a sword in the upper left hand, and the lower one has a vessel. There is an Akshamala in the upper right hand; the lower hand is in Varada Mudra. In the lower right of the statue, there is a lion; in the lower left, there are two deer and a banana plant. This statue was obtained from Mundeshwari (Kaimur), Bihar.
