Female Figurine

This is a typical Maurya terracotta female figurine with a round face. Her left hand, which is broken, was placed on the hip, and her right hand lowered, which is also broken. The headdress consists of a piece of cloth with a round rim against the high forehead and is supported by a framework. The loose part of the cloth extends with deep folds around beyond the frame and towards the back.

Object information could be updated as new research findings emerge.
