The exhibition displays works by three Ethiopian artists Mihiretu Wassie, Meron Hailu Abera and Surafel Amare Sisay. Wassie expresses her artistic vision through buttons and leather scarps. Surafel explores the increasingly blurred boundaries between virtual reality and lived experience. The result of these artworks are epic narratives that captivate us with an almost hypnotic force and invites the viewer to reconsider belonging and reality.
