Ekanamsa
This red sandstone sculpture is of Ekanamsa, the sister of Lord Vasudev/Shri Krishna and Balarama. Ekanasha, in Sanskrit, literally means "alone, without part". She is also known as Devi Subhadra. Subhadra was married to Arjuna, and Abhimanyu was their only son. Subhadra's son Abhimanyu was a famous warrior of Mahabharata. The idols of both Balarama and Subhadra live side by side with Lord Krishna in the 'Jagannath ki Yatra' at Puri in Odisha. Ekanamsa - this statue was discovered in Devangarh, Nawada, Bihar.
