Dharmachakra

Dharmachakra (two-sided) with 16 spokes, supported by two female figures standing on two makara faces. Makaras have their tails turned upwards & enclose a lotus between their tails. The Dharmachakra is present in Jainism, Hinduism, and Modern Indian religions. In Jainism, the Dharmachakra is an auspicious symbol in the Sramana religion, and it is used in the idols of Tirthankaras. This “Wheel of Dharma” is shared by both Hinduism and Buddhism.
