As part of the ongoing Bihar Museum Biennale, this workshop will unravel the intricacies of shadow theatre, a captivating performance art, where a story is told through actors’ shadows cast over a screen. Through coordinated motions of body shadows and flat articulated cut-out figures, participants will learn to create captivating effects by manipulating both the puppets and the light source. This will help them understand the concepts of light and reflections as well. Somya Sahni, an accomplished art educator connected with Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, New Delhi will be the facilitator of the workshop.
